I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Notre Dame, pursuing a dual doctoral degree in political science and peace studies through the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.

My dissertation research explores how the actions of external actors affect a state government’s decision to alter its use of political violence against civilians.

Additionally, I am interested in the strategic killing of civilians in war, the impact of international tribunals and the International Criminal Court on reconciliation and transitional justice processes, and the promotion and measurement of positive peace.
